Dates are targets, revised in place. The history of revisions lives in Git, so this page always shows the current plan and nothing else.

1. 2026 Q4

   Literature review closed for the proposal

   Closure test: new papers no longer change the gap statement in chapter 02.

2. 2027 Q1

   Proposal defense

   Requires RQ-001 to RQ-003 fixed, chapters 01 to 04 in draft, and PRJ-001 designed.

3. 2027 Q2

   Study one execution complete

   All EXP records for PRJ-001 complete or invalidated, with results frozen.

4. 2027 Q3

   PUB-001 submitted

   Venue chosen at least three months earlier so the format is not a late surprise.

5. 2028 Q1

   Study two execution complete

   All EXP records for PRJ-002 complete or invalidated.

6. 2028 Q2

   PUB-002 submitted, chapters 05 to 07 in draft

7. 2028 Q3

   Full draft to advisor

   Every chapter at draft status or better; no chapter still at outline.

8. 2028 Q4

   Thesis submitted

9. 2029 Q1

   Defense

Slack

Two of these dates have no slack: the proposal defense and the submission deadline. Everything between them can move. When something slips, it comes out of study two’s scope, not out of the writing time.
