Stable

Three rules hold this archive together. Everything else on this page is machinery for enforcing them.

The three rules

  1. Every important research entity gets a permanent identifier. Names change during a doctorate; numbers do not. Every cross-reference in this archive is by number for that reason.

  2. Every artifact has exactly one canonical location. Other projects, publications and chapters reference it. Two copies of a figure are two figures, and they will disagree.

  3. Every important thesis claim is traceable. Claim to question to hypothesis to project to experiment to dataset to code to result to figure to publication. If any link is missing, the claim is not yet supported.
