Prompts

Prompts used as research instruments, versioned exactly like any other instrument.

Required fields

• The prompt text, verbatim, including whitespace that matters
• Model and version it was run against, with sampling parameters
• What it is an instrument for
• Known sensitivity: what changes in the output when the wording changes

Adding one

Take the next free PROMPT- number from registry/artifacts.yaml, create the page, and add the registry entry in the same commit. An artifact that exists as a file but not as a record cannot be cited, and will be re-created by someone who could not find it.
