References
ActiveReference material that is not a read paper. Papers live under literature; this section holds the shared bibliography, the citation style, and the standards, books and resources the work leans on.
Formal standards and specifications the work must conform to or cite.
BooksTextbooks and monographs, with what each is actually good for.
External resourcesTools, datasets, catalogues and services the research depends on.
Shared bibliography
archive/references/references.bib holds everything cited anywhere in this
archive, including material not cited by the thesis. The
thesis bibliography is the subset the thesis itself
cites, and is a separate file on purpose: a thesis bibliography that includes
everything ever read is a thesis bibliography that gets questioned.
Citation style
archive/references/citation-style.csl is the single style used by this site,
the thesis and every paper unless a venue mandates otherwise. Setting a style
per document is how a bibliography ends up in three formats.
