Research Archive

The working archive for a doctorate in space technology. Every research question, hypothesis, project, experiment, dataset, artifact and publication is recorded once, given a permanent identifier, and linked so that any claim in the thesis can be followed back to the evidence that supports it.

This site is currently a skeleton. Structure, conventions and templates are in place; the research content is not. Every page carries a status marker, so you always know whether you are reading a placeholder or finished work.

01Thesis

The document itself: research question, contributions, methodology, nine chapters, the bibliography and the defense material.

02Research Programme

The agenda above any single chapter: the conceptual framework, the numbered research questions and hypotheses, and the map that relates them.

03Projects

Units of work. A project owns a question, a method, an architecture and the experiments that test it.

04Publications

Papers from outline to camera-ready, with review history, responses to reviewers and every submitted version kept.

05Experiments

Runs with a hypothesis, a configuration, an environment, results and enough detail to reproduce them.

06Datasets

Provenance, schema, collection method, preprocessing, quality and licensing for every dataset the work depends on.

07Artifacts

The canonical registry: algorithms, software, models, figures, tables, diagrams, benchmarks and configurations.

08Literature

Read papers, by author and topic, with the synthesis that turns them into themes and identified gaps.

09Notes

Ideas, advisor meetings, observations, open questions and the dated research journal.

10Presentations

Conference talks, seminars, advisor updates, the proposal and the defense.

11References

The shared bibliography, citation style, standards, books and external resources.

12Conventions

Identifiers, metadata, status vocabularies, visibility levels and the repository layout.

Chapter status is recorded on each chapter page and summarised here. The percentages are author estimates of drafted content, not word counts.

How the archive is wired

Nothing in this repository is a loose file. Every entity has an identifier, a canonical home and explicit links to what it depends on, so a claim can be audited end to end.

The three rules the archive is held to are on the conventions page. The short form: every entity gets a permanent ID, every artifact has exactly one canonical location, and every thesis claim is traceable to the evidence beneath it.

Where to start

If you want the argument, read the thesis overview and then the research question. If you want to see what is being worked on right now rather than what is finished, go to open questions and the research journal. If you are looking for something specific, search.
