Reading notes
ActiveRaw reading, by date. A session note is written during or immediately after reading and is never edited afterwards; what survives scrutiny is promoted into a paper note or a topic, and the session note stays as it was.
Why keep the raw session
The first reaction to a paper is often right and is always lost. A session note records what was confusing, what seemed wrong, and what connection suggested itself, none of which survives into a tidied summary.
