Architecture and concept diagrams, authored as source rather than drawn, so they stay diffable.

Required fields

• Source, as Mermaid or an equivalent text format
• What the diagram asserts, in one sentence
• What it deliberately omits
• Every page that embeds it

Adding one

Take the next free DIAG- number from registry/artifacts.yaml, create the page, and add the registry entry in the same commit. An artifact that exists as a file but not as a record cannot be cited, and will be re-created by someone who could not find it.
