Configurations

Configurations reused across experiments, registered so that a run can cite one instead of copying it.

Required fields

• The configuration file, in the archive/ tree
• What varies and what is fixed
• Experiments that use it
• Supersedes and superseded-by, so a change is traceable

Adding one

Take the next free CONFIG- number from registry/artifacts.yaml, create the page, and add the registry entry in the same commit. An artifact that exists as a file but not as a record cannot be cited, and will be re-created by someone who could not find it.
