Figures

Every figure the research produces, in vector and raster form, with the code and data that generated it.

Required fields

• Caption, written to stand alone without the surrounding text
• Source data, by DATA- or EXP- identifier
• Generating code, by CODE- identifier and commit
• Vector form, which is the canonical one
• Every page and publication that uses it

Adding one

Take the next free FIG- number from registry/artifacts.yaml, create the page, and add the registry entry in the same commit. An artifact that exists as a file but not as a record cannot be cited, and will be re-created by someone who could not find it.
